Pose Shape Keys
Developer: Mets
Blender add-on that stores sculpted corrective shapes separately so they survive weight painting and constraint changes.
What Pose Shape Keys does
Pose Shape Keys from Mets keeps final sculpted corrective shapes apart from the mesh and re-applies them to a modified base mesh. That means shape keys stay usable even after you repaint weights or change bone constraints.
It works as long as topology hasn't changed. A symmetry workflow lets you create and carry over both halves of your shape keys together using a mask vertex group. Riggers refining deformations iteratively can avoid redoing sculpts every time the rig changes.
Key features
- Stores sculpted shapes separately
- Re-applies on a modified base mesh
- Symmetry workflow with mask vertex group
- Survives weight and constraint edits
