Pre-Select Highlight
Developer: Grigorij
Blender add-on that highlights the object under the cursor in the 3D Viewport before you click it.
What Pre-Select Highlight does
Grigorij's Pre-Select Highlight shows what a click would pick in Blender. Objects beneath the pointer light up in real time, for meshes and curves.
While in this mode, S selects and D deselects without leaving it. Sensitivity sets how closely you must hover, and selective type highlighting limits which object kinds respond. Dense scenes with overlapping objects become less frustrating to select from. It is a small interface improvement, but it reduces mis-clicks when many items sit close together.
