What Printprep does

Printprep makes print preparation repeatable. One batch pipeline repairs mesh problems, orients models, places them relative to the bed and creates supports where they are needed.

Support generation offers tree, cylinder and cone styles, with tip optimization so they come off more easily and density controls. The aim is more predictable results for both FDM and SLA printers. Makers and designers who model in Blender can skip separate slicer-side fixes. Running the full chain in one go also helps keep preparation consistent from model to model.
