What Pro Lens Add-On does
Pro Lens Add-On gives Blender artists customizable bokeh that imitates real camera optics. Effects imitate real glass, including cut-off bokeh edges, fringing and chromatic aberration, which add photographic character to a render.
Two base cameras are included, an anamorphic rig and a spherical one, each carrying three lenses. It is designed for Cycles, version 2.92 or higher, and documentation is included. William Landgren made it for artists who want their depth of field to look like it came through a real lens rather than a perfect one.
