What Procutter does
ProCutter optimizes how parts are laid out on sheet material, specifically for cabinet and furniture design done in Blender. From a model, it produces a full cut of all parts with one click and takes into account the position of textures on each part, so grain direction is respected.
Offcuts are calculated on nesting layouts, either automatically, inside a specified area or edited by hand with the mouse, and offcuts can be cut first in a new order. Layouts can be edited quickly with the mouse, including rotation. Furniture designers and woodworkers planning material use will benefit.
