What proGradient does
proGradient, from irrealix, builds animated gradients in After Effects. Linear, Radial and Angular modes are available free, while Pro modes bring Magnet, Contour, Mask Path, Stripes and a Gradient from Layer option, plus OKLAB/HCL colour handling and a Generate option.
A shift control animates the gradient offset, scale repeats it across the spectrum, and Loop, Mirror and Invert modes handle edge behaviour. An opacity ramp is included, and placement can be done with two points or parametrically using angle and distance.
