ProtoTech's PARASOLID Importer lets 3ds Max open Parasolid models directly, so engineering geometry can be visualized, rendered or edited further without converting it elsewhere first. Colors in the imported model are carried over.
Supported versions are 3ds Max 2024 through 2027. An automation license lets your own plugin on the same host call an import function with standard input parameters, avoiding the user interface and running without user intervention. A free trial with the full feature set is available. Product visualization teams that receive CAD data can use it to speed up their handoff to rendering.
