Blender add-on for cleaning mocap and animation: keyframe decimation, smoothing, root motion, foot fixes, looping and Unreal export.

What Puremotion does

Puremotion by Kuruma prepares motion capture and keyframed animation for game use in Blender. It covers cleanup, root motion, looping and export to Unreal Engine.

Cleanup tools reduce keyframes, smooth curves with Moving Average, Gaussian and Butterworth filters, and repair 180-degree flips and Euler glitches. Root Motion adds a root bone and bakes movement into it for in-place animation. Foot Tools reduce sliding using a height threshold. The result is game-ready action data.

Key features

  • Keyframe decimation and smoothing filters
  • Fixes rotation flips and Euler glitches
  • Root Motion baking
  • Foot sliding reduction
