What Quick Font does

Quick Font connects Blender to an online font collection of over 87,000 fonts and lists fonts installed on your computer, letting you apply them to text.

Downloaded fonts go into a custom fonts folder whose location can be changed in the add-on preferences. Titling and motion graphics artists can test typefaces without hunting through websites and file dialogs. Being able to try many typefaces quickly in place makes it easier to choose lettering for titles, signs and logos while the scene is open.
