What RE:Vision Effects RE:Match Pro does
RE:Vision Effects' RE:Match Pro passes colour and tone from one picture to another in After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro. It targets the mismatches that arise in multicamera and stereo shoots.
Matching may use the whole frame or part of it at any moment. For stereo pairs it registers images using per-pixel optical flow, allowing for occlusions and edge differences, and offers matte-based refinement for reflections, flares and highlights without prior alignment. HDR values are supported, corrections can be stored and reused by cut and paste, and a crop window exists but not in the Adobe hosts. Colourists get consistent footage faster.
