What Real Pencil does
Real Pencil adds a three-dimensional pen to Blender that follows the cursor and reacts to tablet tilt. The pen shows only in the viewport and does not add drawing tools of its own, so it complements Grease Pencil work.
Pen motion capture records tablet movement during playback into a pen_rec empty object. The 1.2.0 update added automatic whiteboard animation, where the pen follows a drawing using the build modifier, with display settings for contact and away positions and adjustable away distance. Creators of explainer videos and hand-drawn style animations will find it adds a convincing hand-drawn feel.
