Renderbones
Developer: kunemann
Blender add-on that converts custom bone shapes into renderable geometry that follows the rig.
What Renderbones does
RenderBones, by kunemann, makes a rig visible in the final render. Custom bone shapes are normally viewport-only, so this add-on converts them into real geometry that matches what you see and moves with the animation.
It is made for rig breakdowns, showreels and shots where the rig should appear. You can convert only chosen bones, groups or layers, color them with pose colors, a custom color or theme sets, and adjust emission, transparency and thickness. Octahedral, Stick, B-Bone and Envelope shapes are supported, in Eevee and Cycles.
Key features
- Bone shapes become renderable geometry
- Follows pose and animation
- Selective conversion by bone, group or layer
- Color, emission, transparency and thickness controls
