What RenderHogs does
RenderHogs keeps demanding After Effects compositions usable by turning off layers and effects that do not need to be active while you work. They come back when it is time to render, so you get responsive previews without losing the final look.
A Toggle & Render button handles the switch in one step, and extra tools help keep heavy comps lively. It can be installed through the aescripts + aeplugins manager app and covers After Effects CS6 through 2020. A demo video is available for review.
