Savemymatte: Instantly Export Cryptomattes
Developer: UitTree
Blender add-on that extracts chosen Cryptomatte passes and writes them to disk automatically once a render ends.
What Savemymatte: Instantly Export Cryptomattes does
Pulling Cryptomattes out of Blender normally involves compositor nodes and ID picking. SaveMyMatte skips that: choose the passes you want, and after rendering it splits out object or material mattes and saves them.
It works with Cycles and Eevee in Blender 4.2 through 5.0, and version 2.0.0 added support for 5.0. Documentation is included. Compositors and VFX artists who pass mattes to editing or grading software will find the manual setup gone.
Key features
- Separates object or material mattes
- Saves selected passes after rendering
- No manual node setup or ID selection
- Cycles and Eevee support
- Blender 4.2 to 5.0
