What ScaleUp does
ScaleUp uses neural networks to increase video resolution while keeping detail. It can scale footage by up to ten times with little loss, and it reduces noise and blocky compression artifacts while recovering texture that low-resolution sources have lost.
Two modes target different material: Sharp mode favours fine detail and a realistic look, and Cartoon mode preserves and enhances edges in animated footage while removing compression artifacts. GPU acceleration relies on the Vulkan API on both Mac and Windows, and the controls are simple enough to upscale in one click. It works in After Effects and Premiere Pro.
