Scribe
Developer: Rendertom
Library of 10 fonts and 2,000+ shape-layer glyphs that write on and off automatically in After Effects.
What Scribe does
Scribe from Rendertom is an automated typeface library for After Effects that produces write-on and write-off text effects. It comes with ten fonts and over 2,000 animated glyphs, all built from shape layers.
Because the glyphs are shapes, you can add generators to restyle them, and letters or parts of letters can be reordered to change the animation order. Animation still works after reshaping a character, and an authoring option lets you make or modify fonts. It supports After Effects from CS3 through 2026.

- 10 fonts with 2,000+ animated glyphs
- Built from shape layers, easy to restyle
- Reorder letters or parts to change animation order
