Selectorpro
Developer: Alessandro Pinna
Blender add-on that grows or filters an object selection by rules such as names, materials, UVs and visibility.
What Selectorpro does
Alessandro Pinna's SelectorPro adds rule-based selection to Blender, operated from the N-Panel. Matching can use names, materials, UV maps, vertex groups, ViewLayers and render visibility.
The Filter tab keeps or removes objects, and every enabled setting must match for an object to stay selected. The Extend tab enlarges a selection by settings, at present family settings, and the Quick tab performs predefined selections in one click. Scenes with hundreds of objects become easier to handle.
