Servo Animation
Developer: timhendriks93
Blender add-on that exports armature animation as servo positions for Arduino-compatible PWM servos.
What Servo Animation does
Servo Animation lets Blender drive real hardware. Armature bones represent servos, each with its own settings, and your animation is exported as position values for PWM servos run by an Arduino-compatible microcontroller.
A live mode streams positions in real time over serial (UART or USB) or a web socket (TCP). Inverse kinematics rigs are supported, and when jumping across frames a threshold-based gradual movement avoids sudden swings, with a progress indicator. It is suitable for animatronics and physical prototypes.
Key features
- Bones represent servos with per-bone settings
- Export positions for PWM servos
- Live mode over serial or web socket
- Inverse kinematics rig support
- Gradual movement on frame jumps
