Shake Cut
Developer: Mohamed Targam
Disconnects Blender nodes by shaking them, a Houdini-inspired gesture, or by pressing E.
What Shake Cut does
Shake Cut brings a fast node disconnect gesture to the Blender Node Editor. Grab a selected node and shake it to detach or dissolve its connections.
Several selected nodes can be disconnected as a group while keeping the links between them, and E gives a manual disconnect. Artists who rearrange big node graphs often will save clicks. It is a small tool, but one that speeds up reorganizing large shader or geometry node trees.
Key features
- Shake to detach a node
- Multi-node group disconnect
- Preserves links within the group
- E key for manual disconnect
