What Shhh does
Shhh scans footage for silence and either cuts it out or drops markers, which speeds up editing of interviews, podcasts and talking-head videos. The process is non-destructive, so original clips stay intact.
Simple and advanced settings tune the cuts. It can work across multiple clips and tracks, shows a waveform preview with zoom and pan, and has experimental nested sequence support with a replace nest option. It is intended to speed up the first rough pass on spoken material, leaving the finer judgment calls to the editor.
