What Simple Bend Ex does
Simple Bend Ex is a Blender add-on by KushiroCG for bending mesh geometry. Pick the faces of the region to bend, launch the tool, and tune the angle and other options in the lower-left panel.
The axis is worked out from the geometry, and you can force global X, Y or Z if it guesses badly. Complex meshes in any orientation are fine, even rotated ones or non-global axes like an extruded pipe. The length of the bending area can be enlarged to avoid self-overlapping.
