Blender add-on that draws tear lines on an object and runs a fast cloth simulation to produce realistic tears or cuts.
What Simply Tear does
Simply Tear lets you create ripped or sharply cut surfaces in Blender. Select an object, draw tear lines across it, and press the Fast Cloth button to watch the tears open up during the simulation.
Because it combines with cloth simulation, the object reacts dynamically as it splits. Several tearing methods suit different styles, and presets for Rough, Regular and Sharp tears give quick starting points. VFX artists and animators can use it for torn paper, fabric or damaged materials.
