What Slice It 3D does
Slice It 3D by MotionCodes slices a layer into pieces and gives each one a sense of depth, all from 2D masks. It is useful for layered paper effects, stacked titles and sectional reveals.
Six slicing styles are included, with more promised in future free updates. Thickness can be set for each slice or for all, adjusted in groups or individually, keyframed and animated in 3D, and synchronized automatically across slices. Footage can cover the surface, and a texture precomp is created for all slices by default, or a unique one per slice, placed realistically on cross sections.
