What Spine IO does
Spine IO lets artists rig in Blender and finish in Spine, the 2D skeletal animation tool. It sends armatures, meshes, weights, internal edges and simple forward kinematic animation out as Spine 4.3 JSON, and supports OCA and OCO-friendly project structures plus procedural blend modes.
Meshes may contain quads, triangles and n-gons, and internal edges are kept so deformation behaves correctly in Spine, with hulls rebuilt automatically. Bone hierarchy and lengths are Spine compatible, which suits 2D game animators.
