Splat Forge
Developer: Hannes Möls
Brings native Gaussian Splatting to Blender for real-time viewing, animation and rendering of millions of splats.
What Splat Forge does
Splat Forge adds 3D Gaussian Splatting support to Blender. Captured scenes made of millions of splats can be displayed, animated and rendered in the viewport in real time.
Rather than using proxies or primitive stand-ins, it evaluates the genuine 3DGS rendering math in GLSL, so what you see follows the true method. It suits artists working with photogrammetry-style captures who want to bring them into a Blender scene. That makes it practical for previewing scanned captures, animating them alongside regular geometry, and judging how a splat scene sits within a larger Blender composition.
