Spock: Structured Scifi Packer
Developer: Chipp Walters
Blender add-on that packs greeble from collections onto faces with ten layout algorithms and instancing.
What Spock: Structured Scifi Packer does
Spock packs sci-fi detail, often called greeble, from different collections onto a face or selection of faces in Blender. It uses instances, so scenes stay light, and gives you say over the final arrangement.
Ten packing algorithms can be picked manually or chosen by Spock. A DPACK browser loads collection sets from your library, and a SCIFI DPACK holding several collection sets is included. Hard-surface and sci-fi environment artists can detail large surfaces quickly.
