What Stash Vertex Group does
Stash Vertex Group protects your vertex group work. Save a copy at a chosen stage, and if a later modification goes wrong, restore it.
Stashed groups can be exported to JSON, either the active group or all of them, and imported again, even several at once, in other Blender files. A cleanup feature removes low-influence vertices, and comments can be edited. It works with Blender 3.0 to 4.5, which helps when reusing groups on models such as those from Human Generator.
