Swatcheroo
Developer: Zack Lovatt
Color swatch panel for After Effects that keeps a history palette you can apply, lock and remove.
What Swatcheroo does
Swatcheroo is a panel from Zack Lovatt that holds a palette of colors inside After Effects. Every color you use is kept as a swatch in a history, so you can come back to it without hunting for hex codes.
Shift-click applies a color, and Cmd or Ctrl-click removes one. History swatches can be locked so they are not overwritten, with a help tip explaining how to unlock them, and the number of history rows is configurable. It works from CS6 through After Effects 2026, and suits designers who reuse a consistent palette.
Key features
