What Swiss Knife does
Swiss Knife by Motion Design School bundles 20 tools for After Effects, arranged in four groups: parallaxer, interactor, placeholder and support. It is meant for artists doing character animation, editing, templates and UI/UX animation.
Parallax 2D fakes depth with flat layers, while Parallax 3D spreads layers between near and far distances. Dependence ties one property to another, Animarker links animation to markers, Offset adds time delay, and Revolver connects rotation to a main object. Placeholder, Extruder, Stack and Switcher help manage footage stacks and precomposing.
