A free After Effects panel for selecting and acting on layers that share a type, name or label color.
What Taxon does
Taxon helps manage busy compositions by grouping layers according to common traits. Type, name and label color are among the attributes it uses, so you can pick out every text layer or every layer with a given label in one go.
The panel offers selection buttons and action buttons, and the actions remain visible even when a Default Action is enabled. Name-based selection works with that default as well. It is free and supports After Effects 2021 and 2022.
