Techsec

Developer: Ryan Southall

Download Free

Creates SVG and PNG technical section drawings from Blender meshes, with dimensions, annotations and hatching.

What Techsec does

TechSec generates static and interactive technical sections as SVG from mesh geometry in Blender, with an emphasis on architecture. Output is available as SVG or PNG at a chosen scale.

ISO page sizes, line weights, angle and length dimensions, text notes and hatch patterns are supported, assigned per object or collection. Multiple section cuts can be combined. Useful for presenting building plans. Technical drawings produced this way can be used in presentations or documentation without redrawing sections in separate CAD software.

Key features

  • SVG and PNG section output at scale
  • ISO page sizes and line weights
  • Dimensions, annotations and hatching
  • Multiple section cuts combined
