The Inspector
Developer: Polygoningenieur
A Blender add-on that displays Geometry Nodes values right at the nodes in the node editor.
What The Inspector does
The Inspector, by Polygoningenieur, makes Geometry Nodes easier to debug in Blender by printing values directly on the node graph. Rather than hooking up a Viewer node or spreadsheet for every check, you see the data where it flows, and it refreshes whenever something changes.
Single-output nodes show their value above the node, while nodes with several outputs show one for each connected output. It works with reroutes and group nodes and reads both fields and single values across types such as geometry, meshes, curves, points, instances, floats, integers and booleans. Procedural modelers will find it speeds up troubleshooting.
Key features
- Values shown directly on Geometry Nodes
- Live updates when the graph changes
- Per-output values on multi-output nodes
- Supports reroutes and group nodes
- Reads fields and single values of many types
