Three Layer Rendering
Developer: Olivier Crespo Barrio
A Blender add-on that splits scenes into background, foreground and focus view layers and builds compositing nodes.
What Three Layer Rendering does
Three Layer Rendering helps separate a Blender scene into depth-based passes that can be handled independently in compositing. Two buttons divide geometry into Background, Foreground and Focus View Layers, handling meshes, surfaces, metaballs and text.
The focus split measures the distance from the camera to the selected focus object and works with animation and timeline camera markers. Render settings are managed from a single interface, passes can be changed without losing settings, and composition nodes are built automatically from scenes or MultiLayer EXR files. Compositors who adjust depth of field and atmosphere will save setup time.
Key features
