Track to New Null
Developer: Vankul
A one-click panel that bakes Motion Tracker or Mocha AE tracking into a new null layer in After Effects.
What Track to New Null does
Track to New Null from Vankul is a single-button panel for After Effects. It takes tracking data from the built-in Motion Tracker or Mocha AE and writes it to a freshly created null layer.
By default the null is parented to the source layer, and a Parent to layer toggle lets you turn that off to get a free null instead. Works in After Effects 2024 to 2026, on Windows and macOS. Compositors and motion designers who attach graphics to tracked footage skip the manual steps of creating nulls and copying data.
