What Type ReAlign does
Type ReAlign by Adam Sacks is a panel for After Effects that switches the alignment of text layers without nudging the type from where it sits. It handles 2D and 3D layers alike.
Anchor points can be locked or reset, and Center to Comp works on both layer types, including true and optical centering for 3D text and scenes that contain cameras. It copes with Source Text keyframes. A shared polling system keeps the panel in step with your layer selection, and polling can be turned off in settings if you prefer.
