Updated! Lazy Select
Developer: Bala
Selects vertices, edges and faces in Blender by hovering, with no need to change select modes.
What Updated! Lazy Select does
Lazy Select removes mode switching from mesh editing. It detects the element under the cursor, highlights it in blue, and you click to select it, all within one mode.
Double-clicking selects edge loops and Alt+Click selects face loops, while parallel loop selection reduces last-edge problems. Modelers who work quickly and constantly alternate between vertices, edges and faces will find the single-mode approach saves keystrokes. The hover preview shows exactly what a click will pick, which reduces mis-selections on dense topology and makes cleanup passes noticeably smoother.
Key features
- Auto-detects the element under the cursor
