What Version Raptor does
Version Raptor takes the tedium out of saving new versions of your work. It reads the numbering in a project, composition or sequence name and raises it, handling styles such as project-v01 to project-v02, comp_0001 to comp_0002, or a name with initials after the number.
Deep Versioning goes further by duplicating every child comp in After Effects, or nested sequences in Premiere Pro, and repointing parent comps and sequences to the new copies. A standalone .jsx script with icons lets it run from KBar and similar launchers. It is compatible with the 2025 and 2026 releases of both applications.
