What Vhs Generator does
RUIDO VFX's VHS Generator brings analog video decay to Blender renders through a Compositor node system. Pick one of three looks: classic VHS, a security camera feed, or a 1990s camcorder, each with its own presets and adjustable parameters.
There are fifteen presets overall, from fairly clean to heavily degraded. Scanlines, interlacing and lens curvature supply the CRT character, and moving static grain plus digital noise can be adjusted for size and speed. Suited to found-footage scenes, music videos and retro title sequences.
