Viewport Navigation Display

Developer: Cristiano-Tosoni

Download Free

Blender extension that shows other 3D viewports as camera-style overlays in the top orthographic view with their field of view.

What Viewport Navigation Display does

Viewport Navigation Display visualizes where your other 3D viewports are looking. In the TOP orthographic view it draws a camera-like overlay showing each viewport's position, orientation and field of view.

Converging lines represent the actual field of view according to the viewport lens settings, and the position shown is the true viewer location, not an approximation. Layout artists and anyone working with multiple viewports can better understand their spatial relationships.

Key features

  • Camera-like overlay in the TOP orthographic view
  • Field of view lines from lens settings
  • Shows accurate viewport position
  • Visualizes orientation of other viewports
