Vmath : Vertex Group Weights
Developer: Inlet
Does arithmetic on Blender vertex groups: add, subtract, multiply, divide, union, intersect and invert.
What Vmath : Vertex Group Weights does
Vmath treats vertex groups like numbers you can calculate with. Two groups can be added, subtracted, multiplied or divided, giving precise control over how weights combine.
Add sums the weights per vertex so influences stack, Subtract removes one group's weights from another more finely than zeroing them, and Union keeps the highest weight from either group. Intersect and Invert complete the set. Riggers and technical artists refining skin weights or masks for modifiers can work faster than with brushes.
Key features
- Add, subtract, multiply and divide groups
- Union keeps highest weight per vertex
- Intersect and Invert operations
- Finer than setting weights to zero
