X-Monochrom: Monochromatic Film Emulation
Developer: Pixel Vampire
A Blender camera module that emulates a monochrome full-frame film sensor with six lenses and lens bloom.
What X-Monochrom: Monochromatic Film Emulation does
X-Monochrom is a custom camera for Blender that gives 3D scenes the character of black-and-white analogue photography. Its full-frame sensor is entirely monochromatic, so renders come out looking like film shots with no extra grading step.
Six lenses are offered, 8mm, 16mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm and 85mm, each with lens distortion tailored to its focal length. Authentic bloom emulates a real lens element, and three resolution presets use a 3:2 aspect ratio. The focal length is adjustable. Photographers and 3D artists seeking a classic monochrome look will find it simple to apply.
