What AE GPT does
AE GPT adds a chat-based assistant to After Effects and Premiere Pro. Describe what you want in ordinary language, in any of several languages, and it produces expressions or scripts, fixes errors and builds elements. In After Effects its Agent Mode writes and executes ExtendScript directly in your composition, while Premiere Pro offers chat.
It can connect to OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini, as well as local models through Ollama with auto-detection. It reads the composition for context, makes multi-step plans with live progress, and keeps conversation history. API keys are stored securely on your machine.
