What AI Relight does
AI Relight lets you light a shot after it has been filmed. The plugin reads the 3D structure of the footage and then places virtual lights into it, working in After Effects and Premiere Pro on Mac.
You can control how light bounces on each of the X, Y and Z axes, and animate each light's position and colour. A render-only-the-lights option gives you the lighting on its own for further compositing. It's useful for fixing flat or dull lighting, adding rim light, or building mood.
