Blender add-on for quickly cutting a mesh in half and mirroring it from a sidebar panel.

What Auto Mirror does

Auto Mirror speeds up symmetrical modeling in Blender by cutting a mesh along an axis and mirroring the remaining half in one operation. Its panel is found in the 3D View sidebar under the Edit tab.

It works with Blender 4.2 LTS and later, needs no special permissions and carries the GPL v2 or later license. It can be installed by dragging the file in or from disk. Character and hard-surface modelers who build one side and mirror it will skip several manual modifier steps.

Key features
