Auto Stop Free
Developer: Coby Randal Media
Blender add-on with a single checkbox that stops playback and recording at the last frame instead of looping.
What Auto Stop Free does
Auto Stop Free addresses a small but annoying Blender behaviour: when playback reaches the end of the scene it loops, which can overwrite keyframes made with auto keying and ruin a rigid body cache. This add-on adds one checkbox to the 3D Viewport sidebar that halts playback and recording at the final frame.
Animators using auto keying get protection for what they record, and anyone baking rigid body simulations avoids losing cached frames to an extra loop. It is released under the GPL license, includes documentation, and also offers legacy support for Blender 2.79.
