Automated Video Editing
Developer: Gilad Glasberg
A Premiere Pro script that cuts footage automatically to music beats, fixed intervals or your own markers.
What Automated Video Editing does
Automated Video Editing by Gilad Glasberg is a script that assembles music-synced videos in Premiere Pro with little manual work. It places cuts for you in one of three modes: Music Beat, Constant Time or User Markers.
Beat cutting uses a volume threshold with a sensitivity control, while Constant Time uses a fixed length between cuts. Options include random footage, repeats, starting clips at the beginning or a random point, and minimum and maximum shot durations. Opacity dissolves, sequence size and frame rate, scale animation across layers and colour correction are handled too, and long GoPro-style clips are supported. Montage and music-video editors can build a rough cut very quickly.
