Bakebridge-Sp

Developer: colosyn

Download Free

Automates a round trip between Blender and Substance Painter, exporting clean geometry, triggering bakes and rebuilding materials.

What Bakebridge-Sp does

BakeBridge-SP links Blender and Substance Painter in a loop. One click prepares the geometry by applying rotation and scale, removing double vertices, recalculating normals and adding a non-destructive Triangulate modifier, then exports FBX files and opens Substance Painter.

A second click returns the textures and assembles the material node trees in Blender. It reduces manual export, bake and material setup steps for texture artists. Using it removes repeated manual exports, imports and node connections, leaving more time for actual texturing.

Key features

  • One-click clean export to Substance Painter
  • Applies transforms and recalculates normals
  • Non-destructive Triangulate modifier
  • Textures returned with material trees built
  • Bidirectional workflow
