What Battle Axe Timelord does
Battle Axe Timelord transfers layers from Photoshop and Animate directly into an After Effects composition. Timeline layers are rendered to disk and brought in automatically, which streamlines drawn animation.
Photoshop and Animate timelines come in as PNG sequences, with SWFs and After Effects comps rendered as MP4 reference clips. Frame durations can be lengthened or shortened, edit points rolled while preserving layer length, and frames added, removed, duplicated, split or cleared with matching behaviour across the apps. Timelines can be built to match After Effects comps and vice versa, and toolbars are customisable. Frame-by-frame animators bridging these programs save time.
