Blender Auto Focus Camera Addon

Developer: Wanderson M. Pimenta

Download Free

Blender add-on that keeps focus locked on whatever is mid-frame, for depth of field with no manual pulling.

What Blender Auto Focus Camera Addon does

Wanderson M. Pimenta's add-on removes the work of setting focus distance in Blender. The camera automatically focuses on what lies in the middle of the view, creating depth of field effects without adjustments.

If tracking stalls, a refresh button restarts its timer. Focus Transition Time runs from instant to a one-second ease, with 0.1 to 0.3 recommended for natural results. Bounce and lens breathing effects add a subtle zoom feel, with strength, duration and frequency controls. Good for cinematic shots and flythroughs.

Key features

  • Auto focus on the center of the view
  • Adjustable focus transition time
  • Bounce effect with strength, duration, frequency
  • Lens breathing simulation
  • Refresh button for the timer
