BlenderAE
Developer: Salt Media
Sends Blender objects, cameras, lights and simulation vertices to After Effects and keeps layers synchronised.
What BlenderAE does
BlenderAE from Salt Media links Blender with After Effects. It exports objects and data from Blender, including vertices, 3D layer transforms, cameras and lights, and keeps layers in sync between the two programs.
A glb (glTF) quick exporter delivers 3D objects to After Effects 23.0 or later. Sync covers objects, vertices, faces, lights and cameras, with no new layers made in After Effects; vertex support captures cloth, ocean, soft body and rigid body simulations, and rotation can use orientation, XYZ values or vertex normals. It connects automatically, handles camera shift, and installs as an extension in Blender 4.2 or later, or as an add-on in Blender 3.6 LTS up to 4.2. Hybrid 3D and 2D artists benefit.
